Claude's back home

His little body is resting in our laundry. I'll bury him tomorrow in the back yard.

Kerri knows the details, but basically, he was bleeding into his lungs. The vet was dubiously outlining continued intensive care, went to check on him, and found he'd left us.

Thank you for all the hugs and wishes and support. It's hard to lose a beloved pet, but if I ever lost the good will of my LJ friends, I really couldn't carry on. Your many kindnesses lift me up.
