A quickie update
Jul. 5th, 2006 07:58 pmIt is falling dusk here in Tokyo, where I am sitting in a lounge overlooking a great field of Japan Airlines jumbo jets. It is a-raining in Tokyo. And I have maybe an hour before I'm off to Sydney.
My very great thanks to all in Birmingham who made the UnConvention such a great deal of fun.
And special thanks to thebiblioholic, his wife and his friend, who showed up to give me a predawn tour of Manhattan, including a walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and a ride on the Staten Island ferry.
More later with pictures, but it might be quite a bit later!
Listening to BBC Radio Guernsey here - as one does - and they are playing "Lupin the Pot-bellied Pig".
