Bron, that darling woman, gave BBC Radio Guernsey presenter Jenny Kendall-Tobias my address, and I have just received a ten-pack of BBC Radio Guernsey windscreen stickers. They are printed in reverse so you can stick them against your back window.

But of course I'm not going to do that. I'm going to keep one for myself, make a journal for it and set it travelling, aiming to carry it personally with me to St Sampsons in April. Bookczuk - that's where that Levenger journal you sent me is going to come in handy. (I've just tried it - it is exactly the right size!)

I'll also have to make some artwork for it. At the moment I'm thinking Bally in a blue guernsey - BailiCumber. I want something that will be visible from a fair distance, because I'll be photographing it rather a lot, taking it to the Gold Coast etc. I'll fill up the journal with the usual tickets and photographs and journal entries from people along the way.

I have nine others, which I need to give away to people who will do interesting things with them. The best part is that the interesting things will end up being broadcast to bemused Guernsey residents and the world. Sure, it's promoting the BBC (and was there a better set of initials for a BookCrossing radio station?), but it's also spreading the BookCrossing word.

I blame Steve Netstation for my BBC kick. I'm up until midnight listening to either JimOnTheRadio or Jenny Kendall-Tobias.

Today a package arrived from BBC Radio Guernsey, and this is the result.
