skyringListening to the BBC Shropshire Friday evening show, with Jim Hawkins presenting and Elaine producing. Elaine's profile says she is "moist and gorgeous". The picture shows a slice of cheesecake!
A glorious clear day today after days of rain. I was afraid that Kerri would return home tomorrow to a back yard that was kneedeep in grass and a load of excuses from her husband. It's been a while since I last mowed the lawn, and it took nearly ten minutes before I got the blessed thing started.
But start it did and I put on my Mickey Mouse ears and mowed down the undergrowth. I set the blades fairly high - next week I might lower them a bit and make it more of a lawn. Been so good to have some decent rain!
I've been doing tidy up today - washing the sheets so Kerri has a fresh clean bed to fall into tomorrow. We'll all be at the airport to welcome her. DD and I will be admiring the airliners, and DS will be enduring it. He doesn't have the passion, but he'll be glad to see his mother. She'll be laden down with presents.
Wry neck almost gone now, following Shen's advice. Cold a faint echo of its former self, though Kerri informs me from Bangkok that she's bringing home a fresh one for us all to enjoy.
